The design is a charging circuit that uses a reed switch and a magnet to trigger a coil, diode, and transistor into self oscillation. This is then used to pulse a 12 volt car ignition coil that runs a modified CFL bulb. The device charges like a Bedini SSG only with no rotor. Current draw is less than 1/2amp. One wire led to a modified CFL from the high voltage tower of a car ignition coil that was being driven by a Fan Bedini SSG.
