Video duration: 110 seconds Some of my favorite pictures of Rocky. A little background: I found Rocky in a small ad more than 15 years ago, and he and I warmed up to each other very quick. A couple years ago he got an eye injury and developed cataracts, and is "legally" blind. He notices movement and light changes, but that's about it. They'll nibble on it a little and then rub their head in it and spread it around. You can see him doing this in the video. Video duration: 83 seconds Cataracts hasn't stopped the Blind 'Too from functioning as a normal bird. Well, normal for him, anyway. We have a bit of a tradition that started before he lost his sight: he waited for me to hand the first piece of food to him. I don't know how that started, but now that he doesn't see we have continued that tradition with one minor change.... The tongue clicking he does when I pet him is sort of a friendly gesture a cockatoo does, telling you that he trusts you.
